Himan Brown's role
[edit]Himan Brown, in an interview at MBC in Chicago 1991-06-29, states that he helped create the series, and that Gertrude Berg cut him out of the "contract" he made with her (because he was a minor at the time of entering into the "contract"). This being Himan Brown's claim is additionally attested at U. Georgia's Walter J. Brown Media Archives biography of him. The same biography also describes Brown as being responsible for selling the series to NBC, at Berg's request. DOOZ (talk) 00:10, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
