Dag Svensson's girlfriend: Johansson or Bergman?

It looks like the english translators decided "Bergman" wasn't a good last name for Dag Svensson's girlfriend, and changed it to "Johansson". My copy, which is a Spanish translation, shows her as "Mia Bergman", as does the cast for the swedish film, and the swedish wikipedia entry.

I'm wondering, should this be included in this entry? I'm not sure, on one hand the original work seems to call her Bergman, but on the other hand you could argue that this english entry deals with the english version of the book. Maybe something like "Mia Johansson ('Mia Bergman' in the original swedish)" would do?

Fermat's Theorem

New to wikipedia, so I'm not too sure how to add comments to the edited tag. However the book I have, has correctly translated Fermat's equation of x^n + y^n = z^n, to quote, "was general for all numbers having having a power of more than 2".... I finished putting up the plot synopsis. I do think it's a bit on the long side but at least includes the ending, and I believe it has all the major events. Critique

Having read the 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', I don't think this second book in the series is quite so good. The plot is rather over-detailed in places describing what Lisbeth Salandar and Mikael Blomquist are getting up to - do we really need to know exactly wha the former is always buying on her shopping trips? At one point, for example, the books is rather like an advertisement for an Ikea catologue when Salandar is buying household furniture for her new apartment. The middle section also gets rather turgid in terms of the endless debate as to who could have killed the young journalist and his partner. I think he could also have given more focus to the activities of the sex trade thugs and what they get up to in Sweden.

However, overall, it is again better than you average detective story and so well worth reading. Ivankinsman (talk) 18:59, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Plot Question

When Lisbeth is attacked outside the Lundagatan apartment is it actually explained what she is doing there? By that point she is living at her new expensive apartment but is leaving her old place. Is it explained or do we just assume she was checking her mail or something? RoyalBlueStuey (talk) 14:02, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

I'm in the process of reading it right now. She was walking to her car ("Salander heard a sound... just as she was putting the key in the door of the Honda") so likely not just checking her mail. However overall it is difficult to know exactly what she intends to do -- I'm not even sure if it's a key event in the book other than to mark the first contact between MB and LS since Wennerström. Gunnar Björck or Björk?

Halfway through the article, Gunnar gets a C added to his last name. The Swedish version of the article spells it without a C. Could someone check the spelling in (the English version of) the book and make it consistent? DBlomgren (talk) 15:35, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
