Fair use rationale for Image:The gate (DVD cover).jpg

[edit]

Image:The gate (DVD cover).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:25, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Dark Book

[edit]

Is there anywhere you can get this book in real life? Google shows nothing on it The snare (talk) 03:28, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure it was made up for the movie. Lots42 (talk) 11:31, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Yeah I was/am pretty sure of that too, but wondered if a copy exists anywhere, or they just threw that copy away. The book itself did exist in the movie, I'm pretty sure that wasn't any kind of trick photography/illusion of any kind The snare (talk) 03:22, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article sucks, terribly.

[edit]

The headline should say it all. I imagine that some one attempted to translate their foreign language into english...to a pitiful effect. 129.255.181.46 (talk) 04:26, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Justin[reply]

Plot section

[edit]

The plot section needs to be completely deleted and rewritten. Lots42 (talk) 11:31, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I see you left this message only four days ago. I just watched the movie tonight and I'm expanding the plot summary. The last time I saw it was when it came out in 1987 -- I was like six years old, and I've been traumatized by this damn thing for years. :P Andrew Gradman talk/WP:Hornbook 08:54, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
