"It" = what?
[edit]The end of the article notes "it is mentioned in..." two books....but are these mentions of this poem, or of the Proserpina myths? I can't tell, and am not familiar with the books in question. Jwrosenzweig (talk) 02:32, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
Included in this section I will talk about the critical responses made towards the poem “The Garden of Proserpine.” It will state what other authors and editors have commented about the meaning of the poem.

Great start to your stub! I would suggest that you give more general background information in the introduction before you analyze the structure of the poem. Also fix your headings and clarify a few more things by adding more basic information on the poem. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laurenstaley (talk • contribs) 03:35, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
I like what you have so far, just maybe find some more sources. The beginning feels like there should be references to where you found the dates of a few things so perhaps that would be a good way to cover your bases. Another note it that there aren't a lot of dates for when the people giving reviews on the poem in the critical response section actually wrote the reviews. It would be nice to know if they were around the time of the poem's publication or long after. (Walkerna (talk) 04:09, 29 May 2015 (UTC))
The introduction is a little choppy and I think the language could be more varied. The rest is great and you have a lot of good information.JessicaPGonzalez (talk) 19:15, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
As someone who has always loved this poem and taken comfort in it, this depiction of Death as embracing us all with equal kindness has been very powerful to me. It makes me think somewhat of the Sandman comics, whose Death I have always hoped will be the one I meet.2605:E000:110E:6021:65E0:2BED:1B2B:F2F9 (talk) 14:47, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
