Contested deletion
[edit]This article is short, but is not promotional in any way. It contains only true, biographical, information about the company. It can be deleted, but not for this reason. --Mrattitudeification (talk) 18:06, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
Relationship with Wakefern
[edit]The editor who updated this article to include Fresh Grocer's relationship with Wakefield appears to have misunderstood what a retailers' cooperative is. Wakefield does not own grocery stores -- it is a wholesale distributor that is owned by its members, the operators of the stores it supplies, which may or may not license some common trademarks or brand identities from the co-op. Fresh Grocer remains an independent privately-held corporation. I have corrected the article and added a link to the article on retailers' co-ops to provide context. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.158.32.221 (talk) 19:29, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
