Nope, it was Ridley Pearson who wrote it. He based it off of parts of Stephen King's screenplay, but the book is his. Man, I remember having to repeatedly tell a co-worker of mine that all of this was fiction & that Rose Red didn't really exist. He wasn't really the brightest bulb in the box, so to speak.
