This article should not be speedily deleted because it gives general information about the band.
All of the info is 100% correct
Just because it's correct doesn't mean the band is notable enough for an article. Nothing in the article demonstrates notability, which is why it has been flagged for deletion. MikeWazowski (talk) 00:32, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A google news search for "The Contortionist band" gives results for a review of their latest album "Intrinsic," an interview, and 6 other news articles about the band. I don't know what the criteria are for being a "notable" band, but this seems to fit the requirement? Purkinje90 (talk) 15:43, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Safety Fire, Tesseract, The Human Abstract: just to name a few. Those bands aren't really popular either yet they have a wiki page. Why can't The Contortionist have one? And no this band is not local, they "toured" with bands such as Periphery, Jeff Loomis, Veil of Maya, Whitechapel, All Shall Perish...and many more. I recently added more info, but someone keeps changing it? why? I don' know. Also try Google News Search: "The Contortionist Band". — Preceding unsigned comment added by DarkMessengerVI (talk • contribs) 04:34, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Contortionist has been added as a full length album, but I'm unable to find anything on the internet that confirms that a full-length release is planned for 2013. This entry should at least have a (TBA) attached to it, or the entry to be removed until something has been teased. If this has been confirmed somewhere, please let me know and I'll add a reference to it in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Purkinje90 (talk • contribs) 18:41, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
