Cleanup
There is a problem with the Alicia Rivera paragraph...nowhere in any of the books does it state that Alicia is Massie's "beta" (second in command)]]
This article needs major help. It needs to be cleaned up, proofread and have opinions taken out of it. Anyone willing to help would be a Godsend. Eraser Assassin 22:20, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
I helped with cleaning this article up, but any other constructive information would be helpful and appreciated.Eraser Assassin 14:45, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
Claire Lyons moves with her parents from Florida to wealthy Westchester County, NY. Until they can get settled, the family stays in the guest house of Claire’s dad’s college buddy, who happens to have a daughter who is also in the seventh grade.
This article is about the book called The Clique, not about the Pretty Committee. Someone please help! 67.81.169.140 23:12, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- "This article needs major help."
- It's funny, because that's just what I said upon coming across it :). I have a minute; I'll try to do what I can, but it'll need better. Someone can handle things I'm sure. 4.249.84.234 12:27, 25 August 2007 (UTC)--
- It's going to be a movie! Should I make the article? I'm Kinda Awesome... —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 01:03, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- I organized it a little more, but I agree, there should probably be a Pretty Committee article or SOMETHING. And each one of the members of TPC should have consistant sub-categories, Claire has none at all! And Layne should probably be in secondary characters since she isn't a member of the Pretty Committee. - MitchelMussoLover (not signed in at the time)
I fixed it up a bit, but the biggest problem here is that this article is only supposed to be about the first book, not the whole series. There appears to be far too much information here about events that occur in later books. All of the individual character sections should probably be removed. I would do this all myself, but I haven't read the books and so I'm not sure what actually happens in the first one (and could thus potentially remain in the article). If nobody volunteers, I might try anyways. Andrea (talk) 04:26, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
There used to be a website forum for this book, lisiharrison.net/forums. It has since been deleted. Anyone with information regarding the former members, please post here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.152.131.63 (talk) 22:57, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
Sales figures
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/22/books/bestseller/0622bestchildren.html?scp=1&sq=The+Clique+Lisi+Harrison&st=nyt The New York Times bestsellers list currently shows these books to be at the top 1, 6, and 8 spots in the paperback section. I'm curious if anyone knows the sales figures for each of the books? That is information which would be quite fitting for an encyclopedian entry. Dream Focus (talk) 19:16, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Of course. That would be a good idea, it would ease the issues on notability, as well. I haven't read the series, though, so I can't do very much. If you have the time, try making a critical reception / critical response section. Make sure you add refs, too. IceUnshattered (talk) 22:08, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
