Separate entries?
[edit]I feel this should be retitled "The_Chancellor_Manscript_(film)", with a separate article "The_Chancellor_Manuscript_(novel)" also established. That way, the two works can be differentiated.
- I agree to an extent, It should be "The_Chancellor_Manuscript_(film)" and "The_Chancellor_Manuscript", following the style of the Bourne Articles, because otherwise, what will we have at "The_Chancellor_Manuscript"? Help plz 12:10, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- The book, as that was the original source material for which inspired the movie. I mean, the movie can be listed as a disambiguation. 74.137.218.247 18:35, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
In any case, the note saying that it is a film stub certainly seems misguided. Kdammers —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 04:18, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Inver Brass
[edit]Was Ludlum thiking of "Invar-brass" (as used for bimetallic strips) when he came up with the (otherwise unexplained) name of the shadowy organisation?79.74.0.220 Moletrouser (talk) 08:27, 25 February 2008 (UTC) According to the sequel, The Icarus Agenda, Inver Brass was in reference to a Highland lake not on any map. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.105.26.20 (talk) 04:14, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Copyright violation
[edit]I have removed the plot summary added [1] on March 15, 2009 by 65.33.116.228 as it appears to have been taken from this website, which according to the Internet Archive, has been online since at least December 2007 [2]. For the time being I have replaced it with the previous summary. Joshdboz (talk) 23:11, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Meaning? Missing text?
[edit]“In the prologue the protagonist meets an ambassador of the United States who on the subject of his thesis which is rejected.” I came here to read this article, but was stumped by this sentence, which I have been unable to parse. Is the un-named protagonist writing a thesis? Was that rejected? Or is the protagonist having an argument the thesis of which is rejected by one or the other? Or something else?
