Elimination Chart

[edit]

The chart currently indicates that Shauvon quit the game prior to her Gulag in ep.3, and that no elimination took place. Given that TJ blew the horn and congratulated Katie, I interpret that as Shauvon being officially DQ'd from the Gulag due to her refusal to take part, rather than simply leaving the game. It closely parallels Ty's unwillingness/inability to present himself for a third round against Brandon, and subsequent disqualification. I understand the alternative interpretation, but TJ apparently ruled it a DQ. Dghjdgh (talk) 01:43, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just to add to this, TJ also said to Katie, "I've never seen you look better in an elimination round." While obviously sarcastic, this is another reference to the Gulag in which Shauvon has defaulted. Dghjdgh (talk) 22:00, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

The title of this page should be The Challenge: Cut Throat.

Possible format and title

[edit]

I'm trying to steer clear of any elimination spoilers, especially from Vevmo, but I read a few rumors and reports (from NON-spoiler threads) that the Cut Throat format will be a three-team challenge - five guys and five girls on each team - based on the three symbols of the Cut Throat logo. However, it's still unknown what the elimination process will be, though MY BEST PERSONAL GUESS is that a team who wins a challenge is safe from elimination, and...

  • The two non-winning teams will have to choose one player of each gender from each team for possible elimination (similar to the Inferno challenges), OR...
  • The winning team chooses one player of each gender from the two non-winning teams for possible elimination (similar to The Ruins).

Additionally, it's debatable whether the Cut Throat title will be two words or just one word (Cutthroat). I guess that will be determined when the official site is launched on MTV.com. DPH1110 (talk) 18:39, 29 August 2010 (UTC)DPH1110[reply]

Lets just wait to find out all of the stuff about the format when the show airs. And DEFINITELY no elimination spoilers, ever; they're unsourced (Vevmo, although almost always right, is not a Reliable Source under the current guidelines).--CastAStone//(talk) 21:20, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I KNEW IT!! The format is indeed a three team challenge. The first option (above) will indeed be used to determine elimination (called the "Gulag").

Now that the official MTV Cutthroat page has been launched, I noticed that Cutthroat is one word, not two. So, the title of this article needs to be changed to: The Challenge: Cutthroat (just as you see it). DPH1110 (talk) 03:21, 9 September 2010 (UTC)DPH1110[reply]

More information needed

[edit]

How many days does the show tape for approximately? Can we list the voting results in which we know?--Cooly123 14:34, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

C.T. and Tina are brought in as heavy hitters in the Episode 8 Gulag. It is unclear who the winner is based on the episodes. But whoever, does the "best" against C.T. or Tina wins, the Gulag.

So it is, Theresa vs. Tori [vs. Tina] in Back Up Off Me, and Johnny vs. Tyler [vs. C.T.] in Back Up Off Me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by XDiaBo1iCx (talkcontribs) 19:53, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WHOEVER THIS EXPLOADING TOENAILS PERSON IS, STOP IT RIGHT NOW. STOP CHANGING ON ALL THE CHALLENGE PAGES THE ELIMINATIONS TO SAFE, THEY GOT SENT TO THE ELIMINATION SO DON'T CHANGE IT TO SAFE. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clippers18 (talkcontribs) 03:00, 8 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
