DVD
It is my understanding that the show itself is not on DVD, but the primetime specials from a few years ago are. Mike H 03:43, Mar 2, 2005 (UTC)
- According to Amazon, there are several VHS tapes of her shows/specials available. — Frecklefoot | Talk 20:16, Mar 2, 2005 (UTC)
- I know about the VHS tapes. The way the article looked, though, made it sound like there are VHS and DVD copies of the seasons, which is false. Mike H 22:34, Mar 2, 2005 (UTC)
Can anyone add information on why the seasons are not available for purchase and have not been re-aired on TV for a very long time? There must be an interesting story here. 71.84.14.102 (talk) 04:27, 2 April 2010 (UTC) Don

Carol Burnett Show - Video Guide
The Columbia House series of "Carol Burnett Show" episodes on VHS & DVD has been discontinued, but you can still find some of them on Ebay and Amazon. While the first 10 volumes are plentiful and fairly low-priced, the higher volumes cost considerably more because there are a lot fewer of them around.
There were 31 volumes issued, with the following contents (note that air dates are taken from the packaging, and some are incorrect, or I was unable to see an actual video box to get the dates):
1 - Dinah Shore (Nov. 13, 1976), Roddy McDowall & Jackson 5 (Mar. 16, 1974)
2 - Ken Berry & Jack Weston (Oct. 20,1973), Rock Hudson & Steve Lawrence (Jan. 29, 1977)

Fair use rationale for Image:Carol burnett show 1.jpg
Image:Carol burnett show 1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Ear tug
Can someone add any information about Carol Burnett's unique gesture of ending each show with a tug of her ear ... and what exactly that meant? That was the very reason I came to read this article, and I was surprised that there was no mention of it whatsoever. Thanks. (Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 19:09, 22 September 2008 (UTC))
