Creation
[edit]I'm not sure why an editor is concerned. The article is only now being created. Like the myriad other short articles on movies and other things, it may take it a while for it to acquire notability, such as in the case of this page: http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Cthulhu_%28film%29. Additional information from the editor concerned would be appreciated.Hodgson 20:52, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
As a matter of fact, since I find absolutely no evidence for a distinction in the importance of this article to other similar ones, I'll leave out the notability tag.Hodgson 21:26, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
As explained on your Talk page, the article doesn't explain why this film is notable. Don't set your standards by other extand but sub-standard articles, just explain why this is a notable film. You must already have the evidence to hand otherwise you wouldn't have created the article in the first place. (aeropagitica) (talk) 21:50, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've tried to address your concerns by adding some info. BTW, that notability template is pretty lousy. Why should Wikipedia be limited to that paltry list of topics? Miraculouschaos 17:30, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Having addressed the concerns brought up by aeropagitica, I'm deleting the "notability" tag. Miraculouschaos 20:43, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. I've been buried with work since the original exchange and haven't been able to get back. The page looks much better now.Hodgson 20:16, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:CoCDVDfront.gif
[edit]Image:CoCDVDfront.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
