"Her selection caused a furore; according to author Christopher Dodd", Dodd's full name has been given earlier, so surname thereafter. Same under reaction, "Christopher Dodd of The Guardian described Oxford's victory as "crushing"", which needs The Guardian wikilink removed.
"Only Yonge, Emerton........Clark and Cowie for Cambridge were new to the race", full names here
"Oxford were strong pre-race favourites,[19] Ladbrokes themselves quoting Oxford at odds of five-to-one on to..", I'd replace the comma with a semi-colon, so it becomes "Oxford were strong pre-race favourites; Ladbrokes themselves quoted Oxford at odds of five-to-one on to..."
"The race started at 1 pm under umpire Ronnie Howard's guidance"
"Pushing her crew to out-rate Cambridge" outrate
"and the largest margin of victory in the twentieth century", should that not be 20th century?
Thanks for the review. I've addressed the comments all as suggested where possible. Just couldn't find a couple of first names and thought I'd reiterate "umpire" but ditched Ronnie repeat. The Rambling Man (talk) 12:34, 14 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
