I don't understand the concept of a BMI for a family. Was it calculated by just adding together the four indices for the family members? As BMI is a function of weight and height, wouldn't you need to have the family members stand on top of each other and then weigh them to calculate a group BMI?

Just added the BMI's of the family together and that is where the numbers come from? Same thing would be done for the finale.65.184.116.38 (talk) 02:13, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I visited here to post the same thing - the family BMI should be the average, not the sum. Even then (as a statistician) I would need to determine if an average BMI makes any sense as the units are kg/m^2 TheWildColonialBoy (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:49, 3 May 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Cannolis (talk) 21:22, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
