[edit]Wikipedia articles must be based on reliable sources to verify any claims of notability. Even though the lack of reliable source attribution in an article is not grounds for deletion in itself, an article with absolutely no sources (or only external links to unreliable ones) suggests to some editors that multiple reliable sources may not, in fact, exist.
Although I am considering tagging this article for deletion according to the Deletion policy, I am nonetheless willing to assist User:DJ HEAVEN (talk · contribs), and other recent contributors to this article, to make constructive improvements to it ... I do not have time to examine this article in depth at the moment, and it may improve over time, in which case this warning was premature.
Please respond on this Discussion page, instead of on my Talk page, in order to avoid fragmenting the conversation. —triwbe (talk) 12:14, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
There seems to be another band with the same name The Apples on Myspace. Not sure how best to mention it in the article. -- Horkana (talk) 17:06, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- I think that page was just A7'ed. Do they need an article? Chubbles (talk) 18:09, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
I notice that an article that I helped create on The Apples (the Israeli funk band) has been deleted from Wikipedia. In my view the band is high enough profile to have a page as the band has released three albums so far with Freestyle Records / Audio Montage Entertainment, and has tracks regularly performed on The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show – BBC 6Music. I therefore request the restatement of this article. Cheers, Chris92.11.33.96 (talk) 23:12, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Would agree that (Israeli funk band) The Apples have a high-enough profile to warrant their own page, and in my opnion should replace the existing The Apples page as it has very little content - this page could be moved? (Roseofwinter (talk) 13:17, 9 November 2010 (UTC))
