Stub?

[edit]

This is still a stub, please leave it in this category. It needs a lot more work and now spelling and grammar corrections. Bartimaeus 05:51, 10 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality?

[edit]

Is the glowing verbiage used the second paragraph of the overview really necessary?

Agreed. The person who wrote this seems like as if he's trying to promote this book. And the cover synospis and the plot summary are rather similar. Coldharbour 2 October 2006

I've taken out the glowing verbiage" phillipmorantking

Project

[edit]

I'm going to start working on writng the plot synopsis 4 this article Phillipmorantking 16:17, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It looks you and others did; but where are your sources? You can't just read the book and regurgitate it, that's original research and not permitted in the encyclopedia WP:NOR (in other words, the book itself isn't a scholarly source). Unsourced material can be challenged and removed. WP:unreferenced.Sbalfour (talk) 18:50, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

Can anyone get a hold of a picture of the more recent (and certainly more well-known) edition of AoS? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.142.144 (talk) 22:10, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Terms Used

[edit]

I don't think it's quite accurate to say that the footnotes are written by the "title character." Bartimaeus is not in the title. I realize the series is called "The Bartimaeus Trilogy" but that's not the title. Perhaps this should be changed to "lead character"? Dvallere (talk) 17:20, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Bartimaeus Movie: The Amulet of Samarkand

[edit]

The Bartimaeus Trilogy: The Amulet of Samarkand Movie is scheduled to come out in America in 2010. Does anyone know who any of the cast is? There is rumor that one of the roles *Kitty Jones* is scheduled to be a new actor, that is just beginning her career. She is said to be an african american with big brown eyes and a strong attitude. Does anyone know if this is true? Does anyone know who any of the cast is? Many say that though it is to come out next year *2010* that there is not a definate cast and crew? I personally have scoured the internet for information regarding this, and have not found any trace of a cast, aside from the Kitty Jones bit. If anyone has found out any information, please post it here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.153.11.16 (talk) 07:32, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
