Speedy delete
[edit]I added the g11 speedy to this article because it appears to be little more than promotional material for the company. Regarding notablity, the article states that it has notable clients, but does not say how the company itself is notable. Having notable clients does not make one notable. Notability does not automatically transfer. If it did, anyone could claim notability. -- Gmatsuda (talk) 06:52, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- The company is notable because it has been written about by reliable sources. There is no reason to characterize the article as spam. See the coverage at http://www.visaliatimesdelta.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080529/NEWS01/805290317/1002 for example, which I added to a previous version of the article at http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=The_Allen_Group&oldid=219442646 (and then someone removed it). --Eastmain (talk) 07:29, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- Just because one newspaper wrote about it doesn't automatically qualify it as notable. -- Gmatsuda (talk) 07:40, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
- speedy is only if there is nothing to indicate importance, or where there is no practical way to rewrite the article to be descriptive rather than promotional. see WP:CSD. DGG (talk) 14:23, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
