He suffered from an eye condition which left him blind in one eye, so all his work must be fixed by his assistants due to errors in perspective - haha what is this? that's not how eyes or perspective work. -_-; 86.140.41.121 (talk) 14:41, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Did you read the article at all? It causes a distortion of vision due to a curvature in the cornea. The cornea becomes cone-shaped. It can completely mess up perspective. Not specifically mentioned in the article, but chances are he is not entirely blind in that eye, or he also has the condition in his other eye.
