here is a translation of the French version.

Tessa, the nymph with a faithful heart ia a play in three acts and six scenes adapted for the stage by the French playwrite Jean Giraudoux in 1934. It is based on a translation and adaptation of the novel Tessa, the nymph with a faithful heart by Margaret Kennedy and Basil Dean written in 1926. The play was first given on 14 November 1934 at the Athenaeum Theatre and staged by Louis Jouvet.
