Wow, there's so much more to say about "the Rat" especially in regard to his career at Notre Dame (he made the cover of some high-powered magazines). I added a mention that he was in Chuck Noll's first class of draftees in 1969, but there's a lot more to be said for his tenure in Pittsburgh. Noll played a couple of seasons using the "two Terry" quarterback system before Bradshaw finally won the starting job. This article needs a serious sports researcher to flesh it out. --NameThatWorks07:32, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Terrence Hugh "Terry" Hanratty (born January 19, 1948) was a former professional American football quarterback in the NFL during the 1960s and 1970s, he earned two Super Bowl rings as the backup quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, his hometown team.
You know, it takes more effort to point this sort of issue out than it would just to fix it (which I have now done). Obviously this article is far from perfect, but if you have the inclination to point that out, it doesn't take much more effort to just do some research yourself and improve it. Wikipedia is a communal effort, be bold.— DeeJayK (talk) 00:34, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
