Various edits during deletion discussion of September 2015
[edit]User:AustralianRupert: I made some minor changes to your revisions. First, I removed one of the two references in the sentence on hosting the Ranji Trophy match, because it provided no information other than what was already in the "Scorecard" source. I also removed the adjective 'first-class', because (I believe) all Ranji Trophy matches are considered first-class. Regarding the latter, I don't feel very strongly about the redundancy, so feel free to put the 'first-class' back in if you wish.
This page was created not very long ago by User:Harshhussey, who created many similar pages in a single day. I presume he was copy-and-pasting the first article into each subsequent one, but then failing to change all of the information in the pasted text. This likely explains why we had a "Scorecard" link to an unrelated team. It might also explain why the language here originally said that there were three first-class matches, instead of just the one.
Finally, I removed the web-link that User:Harshhussey had placed in the infobox. The link was not to the facility's official web site (as should be the case in an info box), but was merely being used as a reference for some of the box's information. I moved it to an appropriate place in the main text. I mention this mainly to alert you (or any others interested in editing articles on cricket grounds) that User:Harshhussey appears to have made the same error in all of his cricket-grounds articles.

- G'day, I've got no strong opinions about any of those changes. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 02:40, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
