Status of this article[edit]

Terralink International, the historical company that is the subject of this article is notable as the subject of at least 3 articles in credible NZ news publications (see references). It's also noteworthy in that it forms part of the history of restructuring two NZ government departments. Firstly, the Department of Survey and Land Information, broken up into LINZ and TerraLink NZ in 1996. The latter was later privatised to become Terralink International. Secondly, the Valuation Department, converted to Crown-owned company Quotable Value in 1998. Quotable Value was one of the two companies that set up Property IQ - the company that officially acquired TerraLink - which was formed in 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture with the NZ subsidiary of Australian RP Data (https://comcom.govt.nz/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/111402/OIA-18.089-Property-IQ-response-redacted.pdf). I think its worth keeping this article, and carefully researching it to make sure it accurately reflects the history of the company, and the role it played in the corporatisation and sale of what were NZ government functions.
