Pronunciation
[edit]Does anyone know if it is pronounced "Tea-rex", or "Terr-ex"? I have heard it both ways, but was never able to confirm the correct pronunciation with company employees back when I used to deliver their equipment. - NiD.29 (talk) 21:27, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Terr-ex is correct. 73.138.155.123 (talk) 13:55, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
Founders of Terex
[edit]Woody Baldus is not mentioned in Terex history. Woody was his partner and was at 10% ownership. Woody was the Chairman and CEO of Terex. His EXTENSIVE knowledge heavy equipment, his sales ability over 25 years in the industry, made him an indispensable part of early Terex. Starting with Bucyrus-Erie, becoming VP and next in line to become President Woody was a key player in early aqusions. He was Terex! Randy had the guts but Woody had the knowledge. 24.250.221.191 (talk) 14:15, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
