Restored advertising Fixed ... I think

[edit]

I do not doubt that this law firm does important work. However, the unsourced advertising is a concern for me.

It was flagged for well over a year. The content is challenged, unsourced, and was restored without sourcing.

I see the notability of the organization, so I dropped the PROD... but... it is an activist lawfirm... great... there either should be wp:RS or the content.- Sinneed 19:40, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any reason I should not removed the unsourced content I see as advertising in the next day or so if it remains unsourced?- Sinneed 19:42, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reworked. Only 2 bits left I can't see sources for. Leaving the article flags from 2008 in place.- Sinneed 20:20, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Unless there are objections, I will drop the flags off again tomorrow or the next day.- Sinneed 20:20, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I have recommended the killing of the logo, which I see as advertising for this law firm, from WP.- Sinneed 19:42, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a law firm in the normal sense. This is an advocacy organization that gets most of its funding from the inherited personal wealth of its director.[citation needed] --Orlady (talk) 21:37, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I hear and respect your argument. I see they do great work. I have seen many law firms that did. I see that it is well-noted as a not-for-profit, though it does not state that I can see that it is recognized federally as such, which is a concern for me.- Sinneed 21:44, 17 October 2009 (UTC) - Found and cited - Sinneed 22:44, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
