mihoshi?

[edit]

since when was mihoshi being a comic relief "bumbling idiot" as some tool put, a DIFFERENT personality? that's her fucking role in every iteration of tenchi in existence

Mirei info

[edit]

AFAIK, Mirei (from episode 18) doesn't officially have a last name. I think you're confusing her with Mirai Ozora (from Moldiver). I don't know how accurate or reliable ANN is when it comes to the cast listings, so I take the listings with a grain of salt, as with the IMDB. Duo02 *Shout here!** 02:47, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mirai Ozora is credited on ANN (I added that one, actually) because she has a short line in the episode where Mihoshi watches Moldiver. As said, not the same character as Mirei from episode 18, though. --EmperorBrandon 03:56, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

Okay, I can live with it.

Separate info for movies

[edit]

What I would like to see if separate listings for the three Tenchi movies.

The third Tenchi movie does have a listing, Tenchi Muyo in Love 2. The other ones still need to be created, though. --EmperorBrandon 03:58, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh please, please, let there be a separate listing for the moview. -- User:BiggKwell

Songs

[edit]

Can anyone notify me of where the opening is ever officially called "Love Will Leave You Crying"? As far as I know, it's only called that on P2P network hostings of the song; the real name of the song is just "Tenchi Muyō!". Tony Myers 13:55, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why no plot section?

[edit]

Don't articles about series usually have a summary about the plot? Why isn't that the case for this article? --71.74.89.197 (talk) 14:14, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Title change

[edit]

In Japan, the series is just called Tenchi Muyō! (like the OVA), but there were different subtitles used in the opening as the show went along. The first ten episodes were "Chikyū-hen" (地球篇); the next three were "Tokubetsu Kōgyō" (特別興行), and the last thirteen were "Uchū-hen" (宇宙篇). When Pioneer/Geneon released the show overseas, they only used the third opening for some reason, and they also added the red "Tenchi Muyo!" and "TV" that appear in the picture. This video on YouTube shows the original "Chikyū-hen" version. Tony Myers (talk) 21:12, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mitsuki?

[edit]

For the character Mitsuki, the first sentence says "Mitsuki graduated from the same Galaxy Police Academy class Kiyone graduated from, but at a lower score. She is a very ambitious person and will stoop to anything to get ahead of Kiyone". I've watched the episode the Mitsuki appears in several times, and there is absolutely no proof that Mitsuki graduated at a lower score than Kiyone. Additionally, while Mitsuki may seem like a questionable person, her attempting to capture Kiyone doesn't necessarily mean that she would "stoop to anything to get ahead of Kiyone" since she was most likely just following orders. If that makes her ambitious, then does the same go for the thirty-something other Galaxy Police officers who were also trying to arrest Kiyone? Does anyone know where this information came from, or is it just made up? DishonorableKnight (talk) 08:02, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
