The eight wonder of the world
[edit]An article in the Daily mail has been cited. The author reports the Italian government has stated that the temple is the Eight Wonder of the World. That is absolutely false. The Italian government has never made such a statement. I'm from Italy and there's no support by the government for Damanhur. Indeed, the damanhurian website states the temple is considered a Wonder of the World but it doesn't state that this is an official opinion of the government.
"that great underground construction excavated by hand into the rock by the citizens of Damanhur and which many have called the ‘Eighth wonder of the world’." - http://www.damanhur.org/

- Aren't those pictures copyrighted? If so, you're only allowed to use them under fair use, and certainly not all of them (only the minimum necessary). Esn (talk) 00:34, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see anything on their website saying the images are under any kind of a free license. (It would be awesome if they were - they're gorgeous.) So unless the uploader knows something I don't... - AdelaMae (t - c - wpn) 11:52, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit]I've added the photos tag because I think photos are truly important to this article. some photos are available on Flickr, but they can't be uploaded to Wikipedia because they are under the "noncommercial" Creative Commons license, which is not free enough for WP. --TexasDex ★ 19:37, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
