More temples by this name?

I suspect there are more temples that are currently known as the Temple of Jupiter Stator.

  • One is close to the forum, a round building situated under a Christian church, the Basilica of Santi Cosma e Damiano, see [1].
  • And the one atop the palatine hill, see [2].

The column of Chiswick Villa, pictured, is definitely ascribed by sources as based on those of the Temple of Jupiter Stator, but which temple would it be? The wikipedia article on Jupiter stator, however mentions only two temples by this name. JMK (talk) 22:56, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
