Hangon
[edit]I am just starting to put this page together. Please give me some time to make the proper adjustments. Thank you. David Schultz Schultzdavid (talk) 20:07, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, David, I'm actually very sympathetic to that. It is certainly possible that the subject of this article can satisfy WP:Notability with a major rewrite and proper sourcing. However, you need to know that, in its present form, it reads like an advertisement, and that goes against Wikipedia policy. You may, perhaps, wish to consider going back to working on it in your user space, because an administrator might decide that it must be deleted from the main article space in its present form. Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions about the editing process, and happy editing, despite this intrusion! --Tryptofish (talk) 20:13, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Please don't remove the CSD tag. As the original creator of the page, you are not allowed to do that. Please rest assured that placing the Hangon below it will take care of what you are asking. --Tryptofish (talk) 20:16, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry for any confusion. Obviously it's my first page and I thought I was working in my user space. How would I move what I've done so far into my user page? As you can see I'm getting to my sourcing, etc. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schultzdavid (talk • contribs) 20:22, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- No problem. I do realize that you are just getting started, and this is perfectly understandable. I'll move it for you now, and you can see how I do it. Then, I'll remove the delete tag. --Tryptofish (talk) 20:25, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

- In particular, please take a few minutes to read WP:ORG, which will guide you through what this article will need. --Tryptofish (talk) 20:41, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Just noting: there is another, earlier user draft at User:Schultzdavid/Temple Beth Shalom (Miami Beach). --Tryptofish (talk) 21:06, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- @Jayjg, Terageorge, and Tryptofish: Some years have passed since these edits and the article is looking a little better. But still reeks of original research from a user that is closely aligned with the article subject. I've spent some significant time on it today and brushed it up a bit. However, I've also had to tag the offending points that need work. Please assist, where you can. Thanks. Rangasyd (talk) 10:47, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
Image gallery
[edit]Just a suggestion that, per WP:IG, image galleries are now being discouraged. The images could be interspersed through the page as thumbnails, with captions, instead. --Tryptofish (talk) 23:38, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
- Does anyone know why the photos are down? Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.140.99.129 (talk) 15:10, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- I looked into the files' edit histories, and they have been deleted due to not having the required licensing information included in the upload. For instructions on how to do this correctly, please see Wikipedia:Uploading images. --Tryptofish (talk) 21:50, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Today tagged for photo request. This is a pretty amazing building, architecturally. Hopefully someone finds some time to help out. Cheers. Rangasyd (talk) 10:47, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
