I have some doubts about this

[edit]

So converting the millimeters to inches the highest amount of precepitation would be only be 39 inches per year according to this article. The minimal amount of rain to count as temperate rainforest is 68 inches of rain by the standards of a lot of scientists. The only way this makes sense would be counting the snow also but that still makes no sense since many other places such as Canada get over 100 inches of snow and about the same amount if not more precipitation per year yet those places aren't considered temperate rainforest. This doesn't help since a quick Google search doesn't give many results. This article should have more verification or be deleted.
