You should include the importance of the biome on this info page.decidous forest are the most important forest in the world. It would come in handy for ecology projects. 74.160.98.144 00:47, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Melissa Bandy[reply]

You should also include some of the many small plants that live in this biome as well as the insects. 98.194.142.97 (talk) 22:15, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Stacie Dudley[reply]

Movies made in temperate deciduous forest

[edit]

Are there any movies made in the Temperate Deciduous Forest, if so when and where and how.

That isn't relevant, is it? FruitSalad4225 (talk) 21:51, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What would happen if these type of trees were planted somewhere in the world that has a climate in which every month is warm with moderate rainfall? Would the trees grow every day and the leaves never fall during the lifetime of the tree? Jim Michael (talk) 15:35, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Major edits, addition of new sections, and invitation to add further detail

[edit]

Hello Wikipedians,

I just made several major edits to this stub-class article! As @Djgrunge suggested, I emphasized that temperate deciduous forests are an important biome. I then proceeded to discuss the different aspects of this important biome (geography, climate, and characteristics like flora and fauna), included a description of disturbances and climate change, and added some images, all changes that I feel improved the article from its original brief version. However, this article is by no means perfect or complete, and I welcome feedback and further edits from Wikipedians who feel well-versed on this topic and can find opportunities to include further detail. Thanks everybody, and I hope people find the added information useful! Lilladlili (talk) 20:14, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Climate types where they can be found

[edit]

@Uness232 if you think I haven’t wrote it well,(although it’s offensive) you’re welcome to write it in a different way. but i think it’s an important information. דולב חולב (talk) 08:41, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@דולב חולב I should have explained my reasons better. Your writing does often interrupt the flow of prose, but you also do not give WP:RS sources for your edits, along with a litany of other problems. Uness232 (talk) 16:15, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Climate types where they can be found

[edit]

i’ll try to find a source, (there’s a professional YouTuber giving this information) then you can edit the extra information however you want.

but please don’t be offensive.

I don’t think my writing is so terrible and yours is perfect. דולב חולב (talk) 17:59, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
