TT Retro availability

[edit]

I restored the channel listing as it was, to show that it is not avauilable on Star Choice -- for national satellite services, many channel articles state whether or not it's on a particular service. Also, as for Rogers -- do ALL Rogers systems, in Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland, carry TT Retro on the same channel? Keep in mind channel slots may vary from city to city, even if both cities get the channels from the same cable company. -- azumanga 02:44, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need to mention that its not on Star Choice, if it's not listed then it means that it is not. All other articles use this rule so should this one. It also mentions in the article that Bell and Rogers are the only carriers that carry the channel, so obviously if they are the only carriers then Star Choice doesn't carry the channel then. Theres no need to make a special note in the info box that Srat Choice doesn't carry it. 99.236.63.51 03:04, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What about Doug, Rugrats and Ren & Simpy?

[edit]

Those are Nickelodeon's first three cartoons were aired on Sunday, August 11, 1991. This format was repeated every Sunday. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.147.198.171 (talk) 01:21, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

pre 2007

[edit]

Any idea why wayback machine archives for the site go back as far as 2003?

Did TT possibly have this in planning a long time and reserve the URL? 64.228.90.1 (talk) 15:53, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure this is answered right in the article's History section, particularly the second sentence. Mdrnpndr (talk) 17:01, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Replacement channels

[edit]

Sources do not support that Disney Channel nor Cartoon Network replace this channel. Instead expressly the VMedia source states: "In addition, unrelated to the Disney changes, on September 1 Teletoon Retro will no longer be offered. Corus has advised it will discontinue the brand as of that date." Sasktel doesn't state that Cartoon Network is a direct replacement for Teletoon Retro.
