JUST SAW TED IN TAMPA AT TAMPA BAY PERFORMING ARTS CENTER CANNOT BELIEVE HE STILL HAS IT BLEW ME AWAY. CORY GLOVER WAS EXCELLENT! ONLY 1 COMPLAINT I LOVE THE ORIGINAL 1973 MOVIE SIMON THE ZEALOT. I EXPECTED THE SONG 2 BLOW ME AWAY LIKE IT DID THEN. THERE IS NO WAY THE GUY THEY CASTED CAN CARRY THAT SONG. IT IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL THAN HE SANG IT.

I downloaded and watched that X-Files episode where he was supposed to sing. It's not there.

So I did a little checking.

Ted Neeley isn't in the cast crew.

The information about him singing there is false. --NIXin 11:39, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Worked "JCS" and was invited to see the show in March 2007 -- I will print Ted's "credits" and have him make revisions.

He is one of the nicest celebs I've met, second only to Gregory Peck. Kcsnowhite7 03:18, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would like to see citation for claimed critical acclaim for his 2008 tour. It sucks, big time. Johnmarkf (talk) 13:00, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neely's emotional feelings towards Jesus Christ, Superstar ?

[edit]

Greetings, The article states: "The specter of Superstar continued to loom large over Neeley's career."

Did Mr Neely really look at his roles in the play and film as an albatrosses (the sentence isn't cited). However, since he reprised the "Jesus" role so many times over years, it would seem that he was grateful and willing to keep his association alive. I hope it wasn't a chore for him.
