Conflict of interest
[edit]At least one major contributor to this article appears to have a close personal or professional connection to the topic, and thus to have a conflict of interest. Conflict-of-interest editors are strongly discouraged from editing the article directly, but are always welcome to propose changes on the talk page (i.e., here). You can attract the attention of other editors by putting {{request edit}} (exactly so, with the curly parentheses) at the beginning of your request. Requests that are unduly long, or are not supported by independent reliable sources, are unlikely to be accepted.
Please also note that our Terms of Use state that "you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation." An editor who contributes as part of his or her paid employment is required to disclose that fact. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 16:41, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
Some proposed changes
[edit]Part of an edit requested by an editor with a conflict of interest has been implemented. |
1. Information to be removed: 1a. Please remove dead external links:
- Profile at the Defence Science and Technology Agency
- Profile at the National Environment Agency
- Profile at the National University Health System
1b. Please remove the COI banner since I am proposing edits here rather than directly editing:
{{COI}}
2. Information to be updated: 2a. Please update the link to the NUS management page as the existing link leads to an empty page: Exiting link -- * Profile at the National University of Singapore Proposed new link -- * Profile at the National University of Singapore
Explanation of issue: I work for NUS but am not paid to edit or update entries. Since I would like to keep this page accurate and up to date, I am proposing the changes here in accordance with the COI terms of use given by Justlettersandnumbers. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dprrja (talk • contribs) 01:08, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Edit request partially implemented
- The link to the NUS profile was updated.
- The other external links to the subject's profile at other locations were omitted as redundant.
- The COI template was not omitted. It is recommended that, as a courtesy, you first try asking the editor who assigned the template in order to find out from them if it can be removed. Since they placed the template, they are in the best position to know whether or not the issues which caused its placement have been corrected.
- The COI editor is reminded of the need to sign all talk page posts using four tildes. Thank you!

Request removal of COI banner
[edit]Dear justlettersandnumbers and Spintendo, thank you for your advice on Teck-Hua_Ho. Rather than directly edit the article, I have and will continue to request other editors to make the changes if they see fit.
Justlettersandnumbers, now that I understand the procedure, I am writing to ask if the CoI template message at the top of the page can be removed. Spintendo suggested that I ask you since you added that banner. Thank you! Dprrja (talk) 02:53, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
