A Tea meeting is not just a Caribbean tradition

There are numerous references in historic Australian newspapers of "Tea-meetings" being held after church openings or other formal events.[1] From what I can understand, these meetings are a social gathering of the members of a church or other organization, especially a gathering organized for fund-raising purposes.[2] (talk) Macr237 (talk) 11:26, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
