"Hanukkah Man"
[edit]I've reverted several edits saying that Prince is nicknamed "Hanukkah Man" due to Jewish heritage on his mother's side. I distinctly remember it being a semi-big deal when he played at University of Kentucky that he fasted from sunup to sundown during the Muslim celebration of Ramadan, which fell during basketball season. (People were concerned that he wouldn't get enough nutrition for the amount of calories he burned at practice and during games.) This leads me to believe that this whole "Hanukkah Man" thing is some kind of sick, racist joke. Can anyone shed some more light on this? Why does the article start by saying he is left handed? It isn't uncommon. Does Brandon Jennings, Chris Bosh, Michael Redd, Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher, and the rest of the left handed players have their article start by saying they are left handed? It can be mentioned, but it isn't very important information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.88.1.135 (talk) 02:34, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
