I see someone's removed the line stating that the Taylors were from Nottingham. Whilst I realise that to many US contributors this may somewhat diminish their sense of pride in the Taylorcraft name, that fact is that the brothers were from England. What's more the line that included this fact was properly referenced from a respectable aeronautical publication - Aeroplane Monthly. Never mind, perhaps whoever removed the line found it a bit embarrassing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.40.250.83 (talk) 12:25, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That was changed from Nottingham to New York in this change by User:206.53.157.250. It is worth noting that it wasn't referenced either way. You can change it back if you can actually cite the ref you mention above or some other reliable ref. - Ahunt (talk) 14:18, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually it WAS referenced in the Aeroplane Monthly ref. at Aeroplane Monthly - April 1987 issue - For Business And Pleasure article, P. 188 at the bottom of the page. Clarence and Gordon Taylor were from Nottingham. The reference applied to the whole first paragraph which I wrote myself a while ago IIRC. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.40.251.106 (talk) 23:50, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
