"best known for"
[edit]"Louderman is perhaps best known for originating the role of Regina George in the Broadway musical Mean Girls, a performance for which she was nominated for the 2018 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical."
Perhaps this is a more general Wikipedia question, but how does one determine what role an actor is "best known for" or even "perhaps best known for"? Is this something that can be found in a reference? For example, I was under the impression that Louderman is best known for her role in Bring It On, which is certainly where a Broadway fan would know her from. Certainly her highest-profile role was in NBC's Peter Pan, which was broadcast to a U.S.-wide audience (hate-watching or not). Since Wikipedia should have facts and not just editorialized opinions (or, for that matter, trivial facts like what role someone who's not a household name is "best known for"), can someone source this "fact" in a reference? - I think it is something that needs to be garnered for the amount of coverage. I think the Peter Pan appearance should be included, but we should look at what most of her coverage has been on. Obviously, because of how recent Mean Girls is, it may change, but I think she has received much more notable coverage for that role than for her role in Bring It On. Not to mention, she has many more award nominations for Regina George than anything. BOVINEBOY2008 15:04, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
