Additional Accusations Lobbied Against Anderson
[edit]I am not a Wikipedia editor and wouldn't know how to go about it, but Westword has just published 2 statements -one from 6 additional accusers (some of whom were as young as 15 years old) and Anderson's reply -essentially admitting he raped them. The article is found here: https://www.westword.com/news/tay-anderson-new-claims-past-behavior-update-11936495. Can someone add these new developments to this Wiki article? Thanks
- Done I've added an update to this article citing the source you provided. I disagree with your conclusion that he admitted to rape; the article pretty clearly indicates the opposite. If these's a certain quote of his you feel should be cited or another source, please feel free to provide it here. AllegedlyHuman (talk) 21:27, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
Intro needs to be added to, it says parents are concerned but not about what, completely inadequate.
Anderson is an open socialist and member of the DSA
[edit]I've tried to update this page multiple times to reflect accurate information. After updating the page, the info I added was removed and the page was locked.
Tay Anderson is an open socialist and member of the Democratic Socialists Association, by his own admission. He has posted about it multiple times.
Why do the editors of this page want to hide this fact? DenverWatch15 (talk) 20:27, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hi DenverWatch15, we usually expect edits (particularly to BLPs) to be properly sourced, which is why yours might have been removed. I have added that he is a member of the DSA. Best, Caius G. (talk) 20:34, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- First of all, as Caius G said, all info needs to be sourced. Secondly, inclusion of his ideology or DSA affiliation in the lead of the article would be undue. Joe Biden is not described as "liberal" at the beginning of his article; nor is Donald Trump described as "conservative" in the lead of his. Also, as I see your new account has not edited this page, you show known that editing the page under different IP addresses or other accounts is a bannable offense. Let me know if you need anything else. AllegedlyHuman (talk) 20:39, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- AllegedlyHuman, a bit off-topic: Is editing as an IP while not having an account, then creating one and resume editing on the same page covered by the policy you mentioned? If yes, it seems to make editing a bit difficult for new editors. Not saying that they didn't have an account before, just in general. Best, Caius G. (talk) 21:36, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
