Hello, my name is Kevin and I will be working on updating this stub as a semester project for a biology course. There are currently sections that are not cited. --Kpopski13 (talk) 19:40, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Kpopski13: have a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Plants/Template to see how a plant article is structured. Peter coxhead (talk) 22:00, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kevin! At first Glance, it looks like you are off to a good start. I like the pictures you added and your description of the tree. I see that there is some information that needs a citation, so I would first try and work on gathering some background information. I would also start to work on sections of the article such as "threats", "habitat and range" or "distinguishing characteristics". Good luck! MSlook (talk) 00:21, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey kevin! Your article looks really good and cool. I would possible incorporate some info on the possible uses of yew, since I know its popular for its uses and strength. Possibly some of its uses are the reason it is vulnerable on the IUCN red list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Charliecavanagh (talkcontribs) 20:30, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
