[edit]I've added an English-to-Arabic transliteration of Tassili n'Ajjer, but I have yet to add the šaddas for the double-consonants. I'm leaving this tag here until someone who is native in Arabic can verify. --chris 19:54, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

Isn't the art found there much older?
[edit]"The art has strong stylistic links to the pre-Nguni Art of South Africa and the region, executed in caves by the San Peoples before the year 1200 BC."
I thought (based on my readings) that the art found there is much older- more like 12000 BC rather than 1200 BC. Did you mean to say 12000? If not, can you provide some reference to that sentence ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.168.19.168 (talk) 14:18, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Tassili n'Ajjer
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Tassili n'Ajjer's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "Soukopova VII":
- From Round Head Period: Soukopova, Jitka (2020). "Prehistoric Colonization of the Central Sahara: Hunters versus Herders and the Evidence from the Rock Art". Expression: 59-60, 62, 66. ISSN 2499-1341.
- From Population history of West Africa: Soukopova, Jitka (March 2016). "Leading role of male hunters in Central Saharan prehistoric rituals". Expression: 68-71. ISSN 2499-1341.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT⚡ 19:48, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
Map of the Tassili n'Ajjer
[edit]I have created a topographical map of the Tassili n'Ajjer. Unfortunately, I can't integrate it into this website. I am new to Wikipedia and not familiar with the English terminology. Map: Map of Tassili n'Ajjer and surroundings-jpg-en.jpg Can someone take this over? Heribertus2 (talk) 09:08, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
