The original edit had non-indigenous Australian's discoverying the culinary use of Dorrigo pepper, and the edit has been changed by an unidentified editor to " The culinary qualities of T. stipitata were discovered by Aboriginal Australians." If there is a reference to the traditional use of Dorrigo pepper by Aboriginal Australian's prior to 1987 that would be great. Bruneteau, in Tukka - Real Australian Food, refers to Peter Hardwick introducing Dorrigo pepper into the restaurant scene in 1987. Are there any references to T. stipitata, Dorrigo pepper, being used as a culinary prior to then? Other references to Tasmannia culinary use seem to be in regards to mountain pepper, Tasmannia lanceolata, and sometimes references to T.insipida fruit, - not for Dorrigo pepper T.stipitata.
