[edit]Every paragraph is cited here, so I'm not seeing the problem, Scope creep. If you're suggesting I use shortened footnotes instead, the main source used is only nine pages total, so it seems unneeded. An anonymous username, not my real name 11:36, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @An anonymous username, not my real name:, that is a really cool account name. No, not shortened refs. You have one reference covering the prelude and rebellion section, which is insufficient in anybodys book. Generally you have a lot of very specific reference running into dozens per article, generally one for each sentence, or logical connected block. I'm not seeing that here. Its great, well-written article and I would be proud to write it, but I think the reader, as a historical rebelllion article, would expect to see whole lists of books on historical aspects, sections on the battle in further reading or a bibliography section as well as being used as references. I don't how many references, but I would expect to see dozens in a similar historial battle or rebellion article. Its worth a thought, hopefully. scope_creepTalk 13:21, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for the kind words and encouragement; just to be clear, you're suggesting I use more sources overall? An anonymous username, not my real name 15:20, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks. Yes, if you can. scope_creepTalk 18:51, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Scope creep:, I took another look, but the only source covering the detail of the events that I can find online with Google Scholar is the one I already used. I noticed what may have been another by searching th Wikipedia library, but it is not accessible for whatever reason. What should I do in that case? In absence of a valid alternative, I don't think this article needs to be tagged, but correct me if I'm mistaken. An anonymous username, not my real name 00:49, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
