What does "capped" mean?? Can someone clarify this lingo in the article.

Means "to be made captain" of a team. The number of times a player has been captain is often rquoted in games as "caps", eg. "such-and-such now has 90 caps with Marseilles".

Er, no. To be 'capped' means to receive a literal 'cap' for playing in a full international match. The cap is a traditional award.

Link to Ruda city is wrong. Burgnich was born in Ruda, Italy (near Aquileia) not Ruda, Sweden!
