Unsourced addition
[edit]I have removed "The oldest dateable mention of the city" since the source does not make this assertion. --Kansas Bear (talk) 00:22, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
Essential info missing; hardly any sources
[edit]Royal tombs hardly get a mention, practically no info on them, and they're a main attraction.
Monasteries: Agios Mnason and Agios Herakleidios: Are they ancient & ruined, ancient & working, or modern monasteries? Of Agios Herakleidios Monastery there seems to be a modern version or continuation, while Agios Mnason is described as "once existed". Guessing and reading between the lines is not good enough, it needs clarification, explicit info. They seem to be major landmarks and tourist attractions.
Hardly any sources are offered, especially not inline (within the article text).
None of the main contributors (NicosT, MarekTT, Esoglou) are still active, new ones need to add the still missing data. Arminden (talk) 10:21, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
