A fact from Talluza appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 10 August 2012 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that archaeological finds revealed that the Palestinian village Talluza was the ancient Samaritan town of Turluzeh, not the biblical-era Tirzah as identified by 19th-century scholars?

User:Huldra, Perhaps Palmer did not mention it, but the place is mentioned in the "Survey of Western Palestine - A General Index," compiled by Henry C. Stewardson in 1888. You can find it here, on page 65. Its entry is for "Tŭllûza (Sh. 11,)" where it says that it is identified with Tizrah (sic) (should be: Tirzah) and Thersa.Davidbena (talk) 00:34, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Davidbena, yes, I know, that is the references to the Conder and Kitchener pages (You can check: they are all in the article). The Palmer refs give in a different reference−register, at the end...except that Talluza/Tŭllûza isn't there.....it should have been at around page 147. (I have also checked in Palmer, directly (the register is sometimes wrong): but still nothing) Huldra (talk) 23:56, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
