2017 Run

[edit]

Papercutz attempted another revival this year, 2017. It was canceled after two issues though, no reason given. sources are readily available I am just terrible at editing so I am not even going to try. Just throwing it out there for someone who knows what they are doing.

Shuldn't there be some mention of the Comics code and demise of these titles? Seems intrinsic to understanding their social impact. --Ughmonster 02:46, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong info on Papercutz version

[edit]

I subscribe to the Papercutz version. These books aren't digest size, but normal comic size at 48 pages each, no ads. I don't know who was smoking what by stating that it's a digest size or whatever. Coffee4binky (talk) 10:39, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's pretty well covered in the article on EC Comics, which is probably where it belongs most since it affected almost all of the EC titles. --Snarky Boy 23:41, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

sypnopsis for issues?

[edit]

Hi,I was wondering that since the E.C comics are so culturally significant, and since some comics-related articles on Wikipedia(ie. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac )have issue summaries(sometimes even whole articles of their own, like Carl Barks duck stories.),than surely the E.C 's deserve story analyses(very short, less than say,40 words.),I mean, surely it would be a shame to list ALL those stories without sypnopses of them, the Grand Comic book database does for Vault of Horror but those summaries.....in short...are BLEHHHHH!!!!!!!,I know this might violate the Wikipedia is not made of paper law,but I think I have a point, and I don't mean seperate articles for EACH stories, just quick sypnopses in the same box,I have a huge collection of CRYPT and VAULT and WEIRD FANTASY and SCIENCE(more of the latter) and will contribute myself, but anyone else is free to move in and contribute, please respond SOON. -Makluan God.

Fair use rationale for Image:Crimepatrol8.JPG

[edit]

Image:Crimepatrol8.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Great idea! I second this! I have no clue why there aren't more comic book nerds reading this! This would be amazing to have online!
