Name
[edit]We have the artwork named as "Takka Takka" (age name, infobox) and "Takka Takka!" (lede), the latter with an exclamation mark. Which is correct? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 22:07, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- The most official name has no exclamation point. I may have erred even including the exclamation point. Not sure if there is an alternate spelling. Will check.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:27, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
Our image
[edit]Tony, why is our image of Takka Takka so dark and dingy compared to the image at the Ludwig Museum website? In their image I can see the green of the vegetation, the blue of the machine gun, but in our image those colors are mostly black? Did we make it dark and dull to meet some copyright requirement? --108.45.72.196 (talk) 21:00, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- File:Takka_Takka.jpg comes from LichtensteinFoundation.org.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 21:36, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- My mistake—I was really referring to and looking at the image linked to in our footnote #5, which says it's from LichtensteinFoundation.org, but in fact is at Image-Duplicator.com. The difference in the images is striking. I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts. --108.45.72.196 (talk) 22:04, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- I thought Image duplicator was part of LichtensteinFoundation.org I got there by direct link from LF.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:28, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- Feel free to swap in a better file.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:29, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- I'm a rank amateur at that sort of thing—better left to those with more experience. --108.45.72.196 (talk) 00:49, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
