This is (mostly) a translation (in progress) of ja:上杉隆.

[edit]

The reference section needs to be changed. It links to a blog that is widely known to be run by a paid lobbyist. Mwahcysl (talk) 18:24, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't see any other way to do it, so I took care of it on my own. The link should not be added back until proof is given that this lobbyist is a valid third party source. Mwahcysl (talk) 18:26, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted this change - you accidentally removed the whole references section. Which is the reference you think is problematic - the 'Ampontan' one? While it's true that blogs do not usually meet the guidelines of reliable sources, I think the reference given (actually a translation of a book review published elsewhere) is sufficiently accurate for its use in this article. I don't know anything about the author being a 'paid lobbyist', but that's not a good reason for removing acceptable references. Terraxos (talk) 23:20, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry if I made a mistake. Perhaps we should let others weigh in. You say that blogs do not meet the standards of reliable sources. Mwahcysl (talk) 18:53, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Since when is Ampontan "widely known to be run by a paid lobbyist"? Give me a freakin break, you'll have to give a bit more evidence than that. He's a damn good translator. Iminai (talk) 08:21, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
