[edit]Tait Radio Communications are quite a notable company. They are one of New Zealand's oldest and largest technology companies.
Tait Communications has a new CEO: http://www.taitradio.com/news-and-media/news/garry-diack-appointed-ceo-of-tait-communications. Can this page be updated now in 2 places - CEO section under Corporate Affairs and the key people at the top? Samjain tait (talk) 03:43, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
Request change to information about ownership
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
In the section headed Structure would you please change the second sentence to read, The commercial company is owned by the Tait Contel Charitable Trust and JVCKENWOOD. ?
I ask for this change because while the two other trusts (The Tait Foundation and the Lady Tait Charitable Trust) have an interest in profit distributions from the company, they do not have an ownership stake. Sir Angus Tait is said to have based the model on a European company, where one trust -- Tait Contel -- is the "owner" and appoints the Board etc, and the other(s) get any distributions and are responsible for their charitable use. JVCKENWOOD purchased a minority share in the commercial business in 2018 -- see this release https://www.taitradio.com/search?mode=results&queries_searchbox_query=JVCKENWOOD
I am a Wikipedia member but my day job is to do communications for the company, so do not want to make the change directly. I have been asked to contact you by one of our Tait Contel trustees. Thank you for considering this request.
