Style
[edit]I'm not sure, but it seems the language style of this article needs some adjustments to be more "encyclopedic". --212.251.182.150 (talk) 01:32, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
I think everything after the first couple of paragraphs has been copied from an Enshin or Ashihara karate website blurb. It reads like an advertising text, as though Ashihara invented the concept when it was established in the article introduction that many martial arts use the concept. I suggest deleting much of it - any objections? Shinji nishizono (talk) 08:19, 11 September 2010 (UTC)
- No objection, especially as pertains to the last bit about the "difficulty" of translating 捌き which is a perfectly normal word meaning something like 'handling.' Body handling. Wow, how mystical. --Sauzer (talk) 01:40, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
What is motivation for removing link to YouTube video from External links?
[edit]On 17 April 2012, 147.156.24.210 added a link to, what to me seems like, a reasonable video. Almost immediately, XLinkBot reverted said change, presumably automatically. Is there a Wikipedia convention to disallow all YouTube videos? That seems to me to be, at least in some cases (including this one), counterproductive. Trackerwannabe (talk) 13:56, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
